My Story

 

As an inspiring coach, I like to be "real" with my clients.  I am not perfect, I do not have a perfect body, and I have to work very hard at being present in life, at being mindful, at improving, evolving, and staying focused on opportunities instead of being defeated by challenges and adversities.

Focus determines our direction, and I learned the hard way at age 30, how powerful my negative thoughts were but thankfully I was given a chance to make a change and press on.  

 

Changing my thoughts is not easy,

finding hope, courage, and a positive outlook is a choice and I work on it EVERYDAY!

It’s especially difficult in the face of adversity.   I believe everything happens for a reason and there is a purpose for everything, an opportunity to learn, grow, and evolve.

   

My goal is not only to encourage, motivate and inspire my clients to become the best version of themselves, in fitness, nutrition and mindset, my goal is to lead by example! 

 

Positive is powerful! 

Without learning to adopt a heathy “diet,” a sensible exercise plan, and changing my thoughts, actions and feelings, I’m confident I would have given up again.

I want to show others that they are not defined by a “diagnosis” nor are they limited in what they can achieve.  I want to show others, their current situation doesn’t determine their future, rather what they choose to do with the situation they are in is what determines the future.  I want to empower, inspire and educate others to believe in the potential within them and help them work to unlock it, one opportunity at a time;

 by setting goals, creating vision, finding courage, persevering through difficulties, and finding a passion for cultivating their true happiness.

I don’t take lightly the opportunity to lead people when it comes to their health and well-being.  My goal is to inspire, encourage and educate the people I am fortunate to work with, to become better at whatever they deem important.  I strive to help others realize the importance of creating a healthy lifestyle so they may have the ultimate physical and mental health in order to accomplish what they dream.

If you believe there has got to be more, there is more, we just have to find the courage to believe in possibilities and take action toward achieving more!

I aspire to help you unleash more of your potential that lies within!

I lead by example; offering stories, reflection and a means to building a stronger mind and body. 

 

I’ve been doing this within the four walls of my facility, but have evolved into community outlets as well.  My followers, are those very young, without bad habits, and those much older, more set in their ways; including everyone in between, however I am confident my leadership style helps create a positive impact.

By thinking outside the box, by doing what is often unimaginable to others, I have been able to create positive changes in my mind and body and assist others in doing so as well.

 

Constantly striving, reflecting, evolving, becoming through perseverance and

tenacity, anything is possible if you are willing to work for results.

 

Improving wellness using fitness and "diet" as a mode of inspiration, I have challenged my clients to believe in themselves; to follow their hearts to accomplishing whatever their minds can dream.

I encourage my clients to be courageous; to take-action and step into the uncomfortable in order to grow.

We all have strengths and weaknesses; when we respect each other, we can help one another realize more of our potentials therefore as a team, we can accomplish extraordinary things.

Know Yourself Authentically 
I've fought to overcome adversities and continue to do so,
I recognize these lessons are meant to be shared in order to inspire hope in others.
It’s not easy for everyone to share what they battle, however I have built a solid understanding of self, and continue to work on it every naturally occurring opportunity.
I live in a manner which I would like to see the world; positive, hopeful, happy, empathetic, determined, and tenacious; yet recognize we are all on different journeys; with different visions, purposes, and plans, happening at various speeds and times throughout life.

Open your mind to the possibilities of a new perspective!

Listen Authentically 
there is always something we can learn from another person or situation. If we are open to seeing from another perspective, it may help us to become a little better ourselves.
There is power in having an open-mind, whether it changes our opinion or not, we grow by learning from others. ​

everyday, we must un-learn the ways that hold us back

There was a time when I couldn’t stand the idea of waking up; from the moment my eyes opened until the time I was able to crawl back into bed, all I could think about was going back to sleep.  In order to change my mindset, I had to learn to think differently;

I started to begin and end the day in a systematic way.  Going to bed, reflecting on interactions and gratefulness, and waking up with enthusiasm to make a difference in myself and the people I would be interacting with that day.

I started to use the words “I get to,” instead of I have to. 

 

Naturally, I believe we all have the power to impact someone in a positive way, by choosing our attitudes.  I feel it is important to smile at other people, say hello, hold the door, acknowledge anyone present; all these things have the power to change someone’s day, thereby creating impact into realizing more potential in each day.  As I continue to use this strategy to help myself recognize the opportunities of each day, I am therefore helping others to have a better day as well.  I am giving them by best effort, which will effect them in a positive way too.
